About Rachelle

Rachelle Lawler is a Sydney based abstract artist, creating work that draws deeply from the landscapes, tones, and atmospheres of Australia. She brings both a refined eye and a thoughtful, considered process to her practice.
Her paintings explore the interplay of colour and tone to convey mood — where colour stirs emotion, and tone brings depth and harmony. Each piece is layered with washes, marks, and textures that echo the natural world, from coastal horizons to the shifting light of the bush.
Rachelle was a finalist in the 2025 Burwood Art Prize and her work has been featured in leading publications, including Belle Magazine and Australian House & Garden, as well as showcased nationally in Jardan stores. Alongside her art practice, she has collaborated on residential interiors, contributing commissioned artworks, material selections, and styling details to create cohesive, meaningful spaces.
At the heart of her work is a belief that art should resonate on both a visual and emotional level — offering a sense of calm, connection, and beauty.
